
Dr. Reezena H. Malaska, MSN, RN, CCRN is a veteran Trauma Critical Care RN with over 30 years of nursing experience having worked in several specialties as a staff nurse in Canada and the USA, more recently as Critical Care Educator, nursing supervisor, interim manager of Perinatal department & manager of Coronary Care unit. In academia she has worked as a Visiting Professor, Clinical Instructor, and Educator for the BSN/ADN/LPN programs having taught several specialties, concurrently working at the bedside to maintain her certifications. Reezena graduated Summa Cum Laude, Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Healthcare Systems Leadership, Dec 2016 from Chamberlain University, College of Nursing; MSN from American Sentinel University; BSN, Deaconess College of Nursing; critical care certification (CCRN), AACN, and nurse training (RGN) from Oxford Brookes University, Oxford, England. Reezena is an author with several peer-reviewed international journal publications and eradio blog interviews on various nursing issues with Inurse radio (International Nurses Association, 2015). She shares her knowledge and expertise as presenter at national and international nursing and healthcare conferences having served as Moderator & Organizing Committee Member. She mentors/coach for SyncOpp and a monthly nursing blog writer for Pharmaceutical Strategies, Boston. She serves on the editorial board for Ordu Universiti Journal of Nursing Studies, Turkey; Journal of Nursing Research and Practice; and JOJ Nursing and Healthcare. Reezena gives back by being involved with international charitable work and loves to mentor, coach, and tutor the new generation of nurses and student nurses in her spare time.
